Note about Christmas trees: The City of Plymouth does not accept Christmas trees for disposal. Residents should contact their garbage hauler to schedule pickup. Residents may also bring trees to the SKB Malcolm Transfer Station, 630 Malcolm Ave. SE, Minneapolis – call 651-224-6329 for more information.
The Recycling Drop-Off Site accepts recyclable materials only – trash, carpet, furniture and bulky items are not accepted.
The site is not open to the general public. The site is only for Plymouth residents and small businesses that are located in Plymouth.
The Recycling Drop-Off Site is located next to the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Avenue North.
Drop-Off Site Guidelines
The site is monitored and video recorded. Individuals who dispose of unacceptable material at the site are subject to a $700 fine and other costs for damages, and may be required to remove the materials.
Accepted items: The Plymouth Recycling Drop-Off Site accepts the same items that are collected in curbside recycling carts.
- Cardboard, flattened
- Paper (not shredded)
- Metal food and beverage cans
- Glass bottles and jars
- Plastics: milk, juice and broth containers; laundry, dish soap and shampoo bottles

Items not accepted: The following items are not accepted at the Plymouth Recycling Drop-Off Site.
- Furniture or other household bulky items
- Carpet or rugs
- Plastic bags of any size – empty recyclables out of bags and take bags with you
