Project Area Map for Wood Creek Stream Restoration Project

Project Area Map (PDF)

The City of Plymouth is working to improve water quality, erosion and drainage within Wood Creek. This project is generally located to the east of East Medicine Lake Boulevard between 32nd Avenue North and 34th Avenue North and to the west of 33rd Avenue North as shown on the project map.

The proposed project consists of stream erosion improvements that include but are not limited to bank slope grading, minor sediment accumulation removal and boulder stream enhancements to control and slow water flow within the stream. The goal of these improvements is to reduce soil erosion from high stormwater flows that are causing the degradation of Medicine Lake.
