Project Overview
The City of Plymouth is responsible for operations and maintenance of 450 water quality ponds throughout the city, including the storm sewer pipes that drain into and out of these ponds. Periodic maintenance is required on this infrastructure in order to prolong the effective life of these ponds and overall drainage system.
The 2025-2026 Storm Maintenance Project consists of several small project areas organized together for cost and resource efficiency. The individual projects are varied and consist of repairing sections of storm sewer pipes, clearing debris, stabilizing pond slopes, and removing accumulated sediments.
The project has been bid, and the contractor will look to start work in November 2025 and continue throughout the winter into 2026.
