Project Overview
This proposed project includes reclaiming (removing) the pavement and paving a new roadway surface on Vicksburg Lane from State highway 55 to County Road 6 as shown on the location map. Other improvements include:

  • Installation of a trail on the east side of Vicksburg Lane from 32nd Avenue to the access to Vicksburg Marketplace
  • Replacement of portions of trail on the west side of Vicksburg Lane
  • Installation of concrete pedestrian ramps, as necessary, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Replacement of a minimal amount of concrete curb and gutter, when the concrete is in poor condition
  • Repairs to water main valves and storm sewer catch basins

In addition to the improvements on Vicksburg Lane the adjacent streets listed below are also proposed to be improved:

  • 32nd Avenue - Partial street reconstruction
  • Ranchview Lane - Street reclamation
  • 31st Avenue - Mill and overlay

  • Open House:  4:30-6:30 p.m. February 6

  • Public Hearing:  February 25, 2020
  • Construction:  Summer and Fall 2020
