Stage 2

The contractor is currently constructing the boardwalk on the north side of Lake Camelot. This portion of the project will continue intermittently until the end of March. In the next couple of weeks, minor pothole repairs will take place between Cheshire Parkway and Northwest Boulevard. In addition, private utility companies will continue relocating their facilities. Major road construction between Yucca Lane and Northwest Boulevard is expected to begin in April.

Phase 3 Project Overview

Phase 3 of the project includes reconstruction of Chankahda Trail from Vicksburg Lane to Northwest Boulevard. Street reconstruction is an intensive project that completely rebuilds an existing street. The project will include the installation of concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, water quality improvements, and trails. Construction of Phase 3 will continue in 2026 with the reconstruction of Chankahda Trail from Cheshire Parkway to Northwest Boulevard.

Anticipated Schedule

• Open House: Nov. 18, 2024
• Final Design: Complete
• City Council Meeting:  April 8, 2025 (City Council approved the project at its April 8 meeting)
• Construction: Spring 2025 to fall 2026
