Project Overview

This project involves reconstruction of the streets in the Sunny Acres as shown on the maps below. Street reconstruction is an intensive project that completely rebuilds an existing street. The project will include installation of concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, and rehabilitation or replacement of the existing water main.

Anticipated Schedule

Informational Meeting: Spring 2026
Project Open House: Fall 2026
Public Hearing: Spring 2027
Construction: Summer 2027 through Spring 2028

Project Update - November 18, 2025

As part of the preliminary engineering process, soil borings will take place in your neighborhood this December.

You may notice paint markings on the ground, survey stakes, and utility flags of different colors. These identify underground utilities—please do not remove them until all project data collection is complete.
The information gathered will be reviewed over the coming months to help confirm the scope of the project.
