Project Updates - August 7, 2026

• General Updates
• Please note that schedules are weather-dependent. Construction updates will be provided once a week.
• Please reduce/refrain from scheduling deliveries during this intensive phase of the project.

• The City’s Contractor will not necessarily be completing phases in sequential order, in an effort to maintain access and undisturbed areas for parking and staging of equipment.
• Phases 1, 1A, & 2 are within the Birch Briar Area
• Phases A, B, & C are within the Highway 55 Frontage Road Area
• Birch Briar Area
• Work by the City’s Contractor/Staff
• Week of Aug 10
• Phase 1: Reinstall mailboxes and install topsoil.
• Phase 1A: Continue site maintenance and turf/tree watering.
• Phase 2: Install concrete curb and driveways.
• Concrete takes 7 days to harden before vehicles can drive on it.
• During the working time, please park vehicles in the Phase 1 area on the odd side (house number) of the road.
• Once the concrete workers are done, you may park near your property on the odd side (house number) of the road.
• Please leave your waste bins at the end of your driveway. The contractor will be coordinating the pickup with the waste haulers.
• Week of Aug 17
• Phase 1: Installation of sod.
• Phase 1A: Continue site maintenance and turf/tree watering.
• Phase 2: Pave the first layer of road asphalt.
• Highway 55 Frontage Road
• Work by the City’s Contractor/Staff
• Week of Aug 10
• Phase B: Install concrete curb and concrete driveways. Concrete takes 7 days to harden before vehicles can drive on it.
• Phase A: Continue utility construction.
• Week of Aug 17
• Phase B: Pave the first layer of road asphalt.
• Phase A: Continue utility construction.
• Phase C: Reclaim (grind up) the existing road pavement and start removals.
