The City of Plymouth is in the process of developing a Climate Action and Resiliency Plan, which will outline goals, strategies and actions the city will examine and implement at a city level regarding climate action and community resilience.

The plan is being developed around three pillars - Advancing Equity, Climate Change Mitigation, and Increasing Community Resiliency.

Sections of the plan include:

  • Buildings and Energy
  • Waste Management
  • Water
  • Local Food and Agriculture
  • Green Space and Ecosystems
  • Thriving Community

Plan efforts kicked off in the summer of 2025 with the help of consultant paleBLUEdot and a grant agreement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
