What to do if there is an Active Shooter
There have been several high profile "active shooter" incidents around the United States resulting in multiple casualties. It is important that residents are prepared in the event they find themselves in a situation involving an "active shooter." Please take a few minutes to view the below video, Run, Hide, Fight. Although the video does contain some violent scenes, it outlines very practical steps residents can take in this situation. Plymouth Police would like to extend a sincere thank you to the City of Houston (Texas) Mayor's Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security for use of this very important video.

Run. Hide. Fight.

In addition, the Department of Homeland Security has a website that provides information and free courses, materials and workshops to help better prepare you to deal with an active shooter situation and to raise awareness of behaviors that may represent indicators and characteristics of active shooters.
