As the use of electric-assisted bikes (e-bikes) continues to increase, the City of Plymouth reminds riders to prioritize safety, follow trail etiquette and stay informed about applicable laws and guidelines.

In general, e-bikes can be used wherever traditional bicycles are allowed unless restricted by a local authority or trail regulation, provided they meet state requirements under Minnesota law (Minnesota State Statute 169.011, Subdivision 27).

Riders are encouraged to follow all posted rules when using trails and parks in the City of Plymouth.
