Ski or Snowboard bags are required to protect your equipment during transit. Boldly label and ID your bag. Many participants have black ski bags, so add colored tape or ribbon to help identify your bag. The Ski and Snowboard club is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Equipment Storage at Ski Area:
Students are responsible for their equipment! We will have reserved tables for students to leave things by, there are also cubbies around the chalet. All locations have a low-cost equipment storage lockers to put equipment when not in use. A small fee applies to use the lockers. Students will need to bring money for this usage.
Bus Departure:
Students meet at the school storage area following school dismissal to grab equipment. The busses will load and depart as soon as the school route buses leave.
Bus Return:
Students must ride the bus home. The bus will return at the designated pick-up locations. The building will be locked when we return, so transportation must be pre-arranged. For their own safety, students are not allowed to walk home after trips.
At the Ski Area:
- Upon arrival, announcements will be made by trip chaperones and staff. Ask questions if you did not hear the announcements.
- It is the student's responsibility to know when the bus leaves the ski area - a time for loading will always be announced. Individuals who return late from the slops may have their enrollment suspended for a trip. Chronic tardiness will lead to membership termination.
- Memorize the bus loading time (staff will issue lots of reminders).
- Students will remain on the bus will staff pick up lift tickers and rental forms, and unload equipment. Lift tickets will be distributed on the bus.
- If a student is renting equipment, pick up rental forms from a chaperone and follow to the rental pick up area.
