Rental Opportunities

Plymouth Parks & Recreation has six locations available for reservation. Rental times vary by location. Reservation payment and damage deposit are both due at the time the reservation is made. Resident and non-resident rates apply.

Building Reservations

  • Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance and at least two weeks prior to the event date
  • Refundable damage deposit of $200 is due at time of reservation.
  • Building doors will be electronically scheduled to be unlocked during your reservation.

Shelter Reservations

  • Shelters are available from May 1- Sept. 30.
  • Reservations can be made starting January 1 of the same year and at least two weeks prior to the event date.
  • Refundable damage deposit of $100 is due at the time of reservation.

Parkers Lake North Picnic Shelter

About: The Parkers Lake North Picnic Shelter is located in the southwest corner of the Parkers Lake Playfield. Limited parking is available next to the shelter, with overflow parking near the playfields. Park trails provide access to the Parkers Lake Park seasonal beach, playground, and sand volleyball courts.

Capacity: 150 People

Amenities:
15 - 10' Picnic Tables, Playground, Attached Restrooms, 2 Charcoal Grills, Electrical Outlets. The Shelter does not have a kitchen facility.

Parkers Lake Park Building

About: The Parkers Lake Building is centrally located in Parkers Lake Park, on the north side of Parkers Lake. Limited parking is available near the building. Building is in close proximity to a seasonal beach, playground, sand volleyball courts and trail access. 

Capacity: 65 People

Amenities:
 Meeting Room, 8 Rectangular Tables, 50 Chairs, Sink and Serve Area, Playground, Indoor Attached Restrooms, Electrical Outlets, Air Conditioning, Seasonal Beach. (Not a full kitchen.)

Bass Lake Park Building

5450 Northwest Blvd

About: The Bass Lake Park Building is located on the west side of Bass Lake Playfield off of Northwest Blvd.  Ample parking is available near by. Park trails connect the building to a nearby playground, playfields, and tennis court.

Capacity: 65 People

Amenities:
 Meeting Room, 8 Rectangular Tables, 50 Chairs, Playground, Indoor Attached Restrooms, Electrical Outlets, Air Conditioning. There are no kitchen facilities available.

East Medicine Lake Park Shelter

About: The East Medicine Lake Park Shelter is located on the east side of Medicine Lake, just west of Highway 169. The entire park underwent a renovation in summer of 2018. The park trails connect to both French Regional Park and West Medicine Lake Park.

Capacity: 110 People

Amenities:
 Eleven 10' picnic tables, accessible restrooms, kitchen/prep room, and electricity.

West Medicine Lake Park Shelter 1 & 2

About: The West Medicine Lake Park Shelters are located nearest to the beach on the west side of Medicine Lake. Shelter 1 is located on the south side of the beach and Shelter 2 is located on the north side of the beach. The park trails connect to both French Regional Park and West Medicine Lake Park.

Capacity: 30 People at each shelter

Amenities:
 4 picnic tables, portable restroom nearby, ample parking.

Tobacco Use in Parks Policy 

The City of Plymouth has adopted a tobacco-free policy for parks and recreation facilities. To help promote healthy lifestyles and set a good example for the community's youth, the city asks for your voluntary compliance. Tobacco and electronic-tobacco products are not allowed in the following city-owned areas except within the confines of a vehicle in a designated parking space:
  • Park land; 
  • Parks and Recreation facilities; 
  • Open space; and 
  • Joint city/school district properties.
