Registration for 2025 canoe and kayak racks will open Wednesday, April 2 for Plymouth residents. Register online, mail-in or by phone. Racks are available for rental from May 1 through October 25 at the following locations.

• West Medicine Lake Beach

Bass Lake Park Building | 5450 Northwest Blvd

About: The Bass Lake Park Building is located in the within the Bass Lake Playfield on Northwest Boulevard. Parking is available next to the building. Park trails provide access to the playground, pickleball courts, playfields, and tennis courts. Reserve Online

Capacity: 60 People

Amenities: Eight 6' Tables, 50 Chairs, Playground, Accessible Restrooms, Electrical Outlets, Kitchen Facility with small refrigerator and sink, and Air Conditioning and Heat.  

Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are allowed during a reservation with an administrative permit. Indicate during your reservation if alcohol will be served by answering the series of related questions during the reservation process. A permit will be sent to you along with your reminder email prior to your rental event date. If you did not request the permit (by answering the questions) while making your initial reservation, please contact the Parks & Recreation office at least two weeks prior to your event to include the permit with your event.

Northwest Greenway Pavilion | 5250 Peony Lane N

About: The Northwest Greenway Pavilion is located on the east side of Peony Lane, within the Northwest Greenway South Trailhead. Parking is available next to the pavilion, with overflow parking just south at the Challenge Course playground. Park trails provide access to the Northwest Greenway's looping trail system and the Challenge Course. Reserve Online

Capacity: 240 People

Amenities: Picnic Table seating for up to 240 people, Attached Restrooms, Drinking Fountain, Plaza, Servery with refrigerator and serving counter, and Electrical Outlets. There is one 36-inch charcoal grill available to use during your reservation. You will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter.

About: The Parkers Lake Park Building is located on the north side of Parkers Lake, along County Road 6. Parking is available next to the building. Park trails provide access to the playground, public swimming beach, and volleyball courts. Reserve Online

About: The Parkers Lake North Picnic Shelter is located in the southwest corner of the Parkers Lake Playfield. Limited parking is available next to the shelter, with overflow parking near the playfields. Park trails provide access to the Parkers Lake Park seasonal beach, playground, and sand volleyball courts. Reserve Online

Capacity: 150 People

Amenities: 15 - 10' Picnic Tables, Playground, Attached Restrooms, 2 Charcoal Grills, Electrical Outlets. The Shelter does not have a kitchen facility.

Reserve the Picnic Shelter

West Medicine Lake Park Shelters 1 & 2 | 1920 W. Medicine Lake Drive

About: The West Medicine Lake Park Shelters are located nearest to the beach on the west side of Medicine Lake. Shelter 1 is located on the south side of the beach and Shelter 2 is located on the north side of the beach. 

The park trails connect to both French Regional Park and West Medicine Lake Park. Reserve Online

Capacity: 30 People at each shelter

Amenities: 4 picnic tables, electrical outlet, charcoal grill, portable restroom nearby, ample parking.

Reserve a Park Shelter

Park Shelter Reservations

• Shelters are available from May 1- Sept 30.
• Reservations can be made starting January 1 of the same year and at least two weeks prior to the event date.
• Refundable damage deposit of $100 is due at the time of reservation. The Northwest Greenway Pavilion has a $200 refundable damage deposit.

Park Building Reservations

• Buildings are available for full-day rentals with reservations.
• Reservations can be made starting 90 days in advance of your reservation date, and at least two weeks prior.
• Refundable damage deposit of $200 is due at the time of reservation.

Food Trucks

Looking to hire a food truck to serve during your reservation? Food trucks are allowed in conjunction with a reservation at the Bass Lake Park Building, Northwest Greenway Pavilion, Parkers Lake North Picnic Shelter, and Parkers Lake Park Building. A $30 permit fee and copy of food license is required prior to event.
