The City of Plymouth Planning Division is responsible for the processing and review of development applications for land subdivisions, new development and redevelopment.
The Planning Division also coordinates preparation of the Comprehensive Plan, which lays out the city’s long-range plans for land use and public infrastructure, and helps implement the plan through tools such as the zoning ordinance, subdivision regulations, and targeted small area plans like the City Center Design Guide (PDF), which details the design guidelines applied to Plymouth’s "downtown core".
