Plymouth requires a plumbing permit for any changes to the plumbing system, including the installation or replacement of a fixture, water heater, water softener, and/or a backflow preventer for a lawn irrigation system.
Water meters are issued as part of a plumbing permit.

To schedule an inspection, please contact the city between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
