The Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority will accept online applications for the Bring it Home Rental Assistance Program 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 through 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18.
Bring it Home is a new rental assistance program funded through Minnesota Housing to create rental assistance for low-income families in Minnesota. Using a Plymouth HRA Bring it Home voucher, a tenant will pay roughly 30% of their monthly income toward rent for a unit in Plymouth.
Plymouth HRA Bring it Home vouchers must remain in Plymouth and are not valid at any other housing authority or jurisdiction.
Who May Apply
To be eligible for the program, applicants must be Minnesota residents who:
- Have a household income at or below the income limit for their household size (see table below)
- Currently pay more than 30% of their current monthly income toward rent
- Are not currently receiving rental assistance under the Housing Choice Voucher program
- Are not currently in a unit that receives Project-Based assistance
What We Ask For
Applicants must supply an email address plus names, Social Security numbers, birthdates, and income information for every person in the household.
When to Apply
- The waitlist opens: 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026
- The waitlist closes: 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026
Where to Apply
Applications must be submitted online at waitlistcheck.com/MN3067 (applicants will need to make an account).
Paper applications will not be available nor accepted, and the Plymouth HRA will not be available by telephone to assist with the application process.
Selection
After the application window closes, 200 applications will be chosen by lottery and assigned to the waitlist. Those 200 applicants will be notified via letter that they have been placed on the waitlist.
Lottery Results
Beginning Sunday, March 15, applicants may also log into their account at waitlistcheck.com to see if they were selected for the waitlist. Those marked “active” are those on the waitlist, and those marked “inactive” were not chosen through the lottery.
Reasonable Accomodation
It is the policy of Plymouth HRA to provide reasonable accommodation to persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in its housing program. Income Limits
Households with gross annual income at or below the 2026 50% limit may qualify for assistance. Households at or below the 2026 30% limit may qualify for additional preference.
