To gauge customer satisfaction and continually improve service for riders, Plymouth Metrolink conducts a rider survey each year.

This year's survey will be available Sept. 14-18. Riders are asked to take a few moments and complete the survey online. Surveys will be available for Plymouth Click-and-Ride and express/reverse routes – links to the surveys will be available on this page beginning Monday, Sept. 14.

Welcome to Plymouth Metrolink

Operated by the City of Plymouth, Metrolink provides express commuter routes to and from downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota, as well as Click-and-Ride – an on-demand shuttle service for trips within the city. The City of Plymouth contracts with First Transit to provide Metrolink for residents and businesses in the community.

It's Easy to Ride Plymouth Metrolink

From convenient stops and park and ride locations to easy-pay methods and maximized accessibility, Plymouth Metrolink is the ideal option for many commuters.

Each day we strive to make riding Plymouth Metrolink as stress-free and convenient as possible. All our local service buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts to maximize system accessibility. We also participate in the regional Guaranteed Ride Home Program which provides vouchers for a free bus ride or cab fare if you need emergency transportation home.

Plymouth Metrolink provides about half a million rides each year through three types of service: express buses to downtown Minneapolis, reverse Commuter service from Minneapolis to Plymouth, and Click-and-Ride service to local destinations.

Plymouth Metrolink was established in 1984 by the City of Plymouth. It was the first transit system created under a state law allowing suburban cities to establish their own transit programs. Plymouth's goals are to provide local service linked to the rest of the regional transit system.

The City of Plymouth is a member of the Suburban Transit Association (STA). Founded in 1995, the STA’s purpose is to improve the metropolitan region’s transportation system by providing high-quality suburban transit services, thereby, reducing congestion in one of the fastest growing regions in the country. The STA providers include Maple Grove Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Plymouth Metrolink and SouthWest Transit.
