What is a Safe Exchange Spot?

A Safe Exchange Spot is a designated location intended to provide a safer, more visible place for in-person transactions in a public setting.

Where is it located?

The Safe Exchange Spot is located in the parking lot of the Plymouth City Hall Building (3400 Plymouth Blvd.), near the Veterans Memorial. Look for clearly marked “Safe Exchange Spot” signage. Spaces may be unavailable during special events.

An indoor option is also available in the front vestibule of the Police Department, which includes access to a direct 911 phone.

Is it monitored?

The area is equipped with video recording; however it is not actively monitored at all times. Public safety staff do not oversee or facilitate exchanges.
