On Wednesday, June 10, the Union Pacific Railroad will work on the railroad track crossing of South Shore Drive, just south of Luce Line Trail. This work will require full closure of South Shore Drive for approximately 24 hours. 

During the closure, all access to Peninsula Road and South Shore Drive north of the Luce Line Trail will be provided via 13th Avenue. All access to 11th Avenue and South Shore Drive south of the Luce Line Trail will be provided from Highway 55 and South Shore Drive. 

The original detour for the 10th Avenue/South Shore Drive intersection (Revere Lane, 10th Avenue, Nathan Lane, and South Shore Drive) will be reinstated upon completion of the railroad crossing replacement.
