Canceled: Stars, Stripes and Songs - Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday

The Plymouth Rockers Chorus and Plymouth Concert Band performance, Stars Stripes and Songs -Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday, for today, Tuesday, June 23, has been canceled due to weather. The event may be rescheduled for a later date. 

The Plymouth Rockers Chorus and Plymouth Concert Band will perform 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.

This free event – Stars, Stripes and Songs – celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States. 

The Plymouth Rockers and Plymouth Concert Band will be performing a patriotic lineup of music for the evening. 

“The Hilde is an incredible outdoor venue for this concert,” said Plymouth Parks and Recreation Supervisor Meghan Constantini. “It is really special that these two local groups will be together on one stage. This is a unique opportunity for friends, family and neighbors to gather and celebrate our nation.” 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks Pronto Pups and Soft Serve Social will be available on-site and attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
