Station 73 TRIP – South Shore Drive and 10th Avenue intersection closure
The Station 73 TRIP project will begin construction along South Shore Drive and 10th Avenue beginning Monday, May 11. The intersection of South Shore Drive and 10th Avenue will be closed to traffic as work begins on removing the existing pavement, reconstructing utilities and constructing the proposed roundabout. During the closure, the detour route will follow Revere Lane, 10th Avenue, Nathan Lane, and South Shore Drive. View a map of the detour (PDF).
There are no changes to the Sunset Trail or the Zachary Lane detour routes. Highway 55 will remain open throughout 2026.
