Work is continuing on the Station 73 TRIP project with construction focused along Zachary Lane, Old County Road 15, and the South Frontage Road. The detour route that utilizes Highway 169, I-394, and Hopkins Crossroad has been modified due to work that Minnesota Department of Transportation is performing at Hopkins Crossroad and I-394.

Due to the work, MnDOT has closed the westbound I-394 exit ramp to Hopkins Crossroad along with the Hopkins Crossroad entrance ramp to westbound I-394. The closure is anticipated to last until early July. More information about the project can found on MnDOT’s website.

The closure of the ramps at Hopkins Crossroad requires modifications to the Station 73 southbound detour route of Zachary Lane. The detour route directs drivers to eastbound Highway 55, southbound Highway 169, westbound I-394, exit at Ridgedale Drive (Exit 1D), turn left at Ridgedale Drive, turn left to go eastbound on I-394, exit at Hopkins Crossroad (Exit 2), turn right at Hopkins Crossroad, and ends at Zachary Lane. There are no changes to the Sunset Trail detour route.
