The Plymouth Fire Department is now accepting job applications for fire cadets – positions available through a program designed to create career paths for those aspiring to become firefighters.

Applicants should not have prior experience as a firefighter – the positions serve as an entry to the field and help cadets develop the skills necessary for a future career as a full-time firefighter. The positions are full-time and are limited to two years of maximum employment.

Applications are available at plymouthmn.gov/firecadet. The deadline to apply is 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.
