Participants may learn about the plan and share feedback at the sessions. Those interested are welcome to attend all three sessions – November 2025, February 2026 and March 2026 – at a location that is most convenient for them, though attendance at multiple sessions is not necessary.

About the Climate Action Plan
The Climate Action and Resiliency Plan will outline goals, strategies and actions the city will examine and implement at a city level regarding climate action and community resilience. The plan will develop around three pillars – Advancing Equity, Climate Change Mitigation, and Increasing Community Resiliency. The plan will also have a Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Community Climate Vulnerability Assessments, and an action and implementation plan.
The city’s Climate Action and Resiliency Plan efforts kicked off this summer, thanks to a grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, which will fund nearly half the costs. The city is working with the consultant paleBLUEdot to complete baseline assessments (Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Climate Vulnerability Assessments).
