A Multimodal Corridor Study is coming soon to neighborhoods along Highway 169 between 101st Avenue and Interstate 394, which includes Plymouth. With a complex corridor that crosses many unique communities, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is seeking input on potential improvements for travel along and across the highway.
MnDOT’s outreach team will host open house events in October to get the word out and bring stakeholders into the planning process.
Upcoming meetings include:
- 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8: North Hennepin Community College – Helling Hall (7411 85th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Park)
- 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9: Virtual via Zoom. Register for the meeting.
At the meetings, attendees may ask questions and learn more about the alternatives along the corridor. A recording of the virtual meeting will be available following the event.
About the Study
MnDOT, in collaboration with local partners, is leading the study to look at infrastructure condition, mobility and safety needs, and multimodal connectivity needs across the highway. The goal is to achieve better connections between residential areas, employment hubs, educational institutions and commercial centers.
