Hennepin County's Brockton Lane repaving project began May 6
According to Hennepin County, a repaving project on Brockton Lane N. (County Road 101) between Highway 55 and 68th Avenue N. began Monday, May 6.
The work will be completed in stages. County crews will grind away the existing pavement, pave a new layer of pavement and then add striping and pavement markings.
Due to the nature of this work and the weather, project dates are subject to change. The project is expected to be complete in roughly two to three weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists Should Expect Delays, Temporary Closures
The road will mostly be open to traffic during the project – but motorists should expect delays and possible short-term closures, as well as day-to-day traffic configuration changes. Flaggers may also be on site to help guide vehicles.
For the safety of motorists and crews working on the project, please obey all posted speed limits and slow down while crews are working.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
