Police accepting comments on draft body-worn camera policy

The Plymouth Police Department is moving towards the purchase and use of body-worn cameras. As part of the process, the department is required to publish a draft version of the policy for community members to review and provide comment. 

Comments can be sent to police@plymouthmn.gov and must be submitted by noon Tuesday, March 12. A presentation and public hearing will be held at a City Council meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.

Plymouth's policy is based on best practices and policy developed by the League of Minnesota Cities.
