DESCRIPTION:<p>Energy Programs and Savings for Businesses, Nonprofits and Faith-Based Communities is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 at the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N. The event is part of Plymouth Stewardship Academy – a new series from the Plymouth Environmental Quality Committee.&nbsp;</p><p>Topics covered at the July 15 event will include on-site or purchased renewable energy, reducing energy use, reducing on-site fuel combustion, reducing water usage, reducing waste, diverting recyclables and organics. The program will feature a roundtable discussion where attendees can share what they have worked on, what they plan to work on and lessons learned, as well as brainstorm solutions for any issues they may be running into.</p><p>The event will also feature representatives from the West Metro Climate Hub and Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light. The event is for businesses, nonprofit organizations and faith-based communities. Additional sessions for residents will be held at a later date – stay tuned for information as it becomes available.</p>
