Special events bring the community together. The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department holds a variety of community events throughout the year, including concerts, theater, water ski shows, parades, performances and more. Kids dancing at Halloween at the Creek

Halloween at the Creek
set for 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25

Celebrate October in style with carnival games, inflatables, entertainment, prizes, treats and more. Halloween at the Creek is set for 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

Costumes are encouraged at this family-friendly event. A pizza slice and beverage are included in the cost of admission.

Registration: Cost is $5 for adults. Cost is $10 for each child registered by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25, or $12 at the door. Ages 2 and younger are free. Register online or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 763-509-5200.

The Harbor Revue: a live variety show

The Harbor Revue

Enjoy a live variety show at the Plymouth Creek Center's Black Box Theatre, 14800 34th Ave. N.

A series of entertaining performances tailored for adult audiences, the show features comedy, poetry, music and more. Performances are set for 7 p.m. the following dates:

  • Thursday, Oct. 17  |  Friday Oct. 18
  • Thursday, Dec. 12  |  Friday, Dec. 13

Tickets: Tickets cost $15 online or $20 at the door. Student/senior discount: $10 online or $15 at the door.

Free Theatre: Pinocchio

Enjoy free theater in Plymouth – Prairie Fire Children's Theatre presents an original musical version of the classic tale “Pinocchio.” 

Bring blankets or lawn chairs for the outdoor show, set for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13 the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd. 


From the Enchanted Forest of the Blue Fairy to the Isle of Fun, follow Pinocchio’s adventures as he learns what it means to be a real boy.

Performances feature local children who auditioned and rehearsed for roles. The program is available through Plymouth Parks and Recreation summer programming. 

In the event of inclement weather, performances may be canceled. Cancellations will be listed on the weather hotline, 763-509-5205.
