COVID-19 Event Cancellations
The health and safety of our community is a priority for the City of Plymouth. As a precaution, the city is taking several actions aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). These decisions follow Minnesota Department of Health recommendations to reduce the frequency of large gatherings and promote social distancing.

A variety of recreation activities and events, including Discover Plymouth, Primavera, the Harbor Revue and Kids Garage Sale, have been canceled or postponed until further notice.

Calendar of Events

Special events bring the community together. The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department holds a variety of community events throughout the year, including concerts, theater, water ski shows, parades, performances and more. View a list of 2020 Special Events (PDF).

Kids Fest

The Summer Carnival and Environmental Fair rolled into one big, fun event!

Schedule:

  • 6-6:45 p.m. Minnesota Zoomobile
    This program uses a variety of animals native to our state and will educate the students about ecological concepts unique to Minnesota while instilling a sense of environmental stewardship towards the global ecosystem. http://mnzoo.org/education/zoomobile/
  • 6-9 p.m. Games & Activities
    Unlimited wristbands are available for purchase prior to the event or purchase tickets at the event (25¢ each). Wristbands are $8 per person if purchased by Monday, July 29 at 4:30 p.m. by calling 763-509-5200 or online.
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m. Cale the Juggler
  • 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Teddy Bear Band
    Take a magical journey filled with movement, imagination and fun! The Teddy Bear Band has performed over 9,000 shows. Music and fun is created with the intent for children to gain and maintain a positive sense of self and an appreciation of their own abilities.

Food, snacks and beverages are available for purchase.
