COVID-19 Event Cancellations
To promote social distancing and reduce the frequency of large gatherings, a variety of recreation activities and events have been canceled or postponed. View the most up-to-date information: plymouthmn.gov/coronavirus

Virtual Recreation: While in-person programs are on hold, the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department offers other ways for the community to stay engaged – virtual recreation programs. Visit the Connect to Rec webpage to view the available opportunities.

Drive-in Movies
The City of Plymouth presents free drive-in movies Thursdays Aug. 6 (Community Choice: Monsters Inc.), Aug. 13 (Aladdin) and Aug. 20 (The Mighty Ducks) at two parking lot locations in Plymouth:

  • Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.
  • TCF Bank (Plymouth Corporate Center), 1405 Xenium Lane N.

Residents voted online to select the Aug. 6 community choice movie – and the winning choice is Monsters Inc. View more info.

Plymouth Sings
Plymouth Sings seeks the best vocalists in town to compete for prizes and potentially represent the community at the statewide Minnesota Sings competition. The public is invited to watch the Plymouth Sings Finals on Aug. 12. View more info.


Calendar of Events
Special events bring the community together. The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department holds a variety of community events throughout the year, including concerts, theater, water ski shows, parades, performances and more. View a list of 2020 Special Events (PDF).

Farmers Market

The 2019 Plymouth Farmers Market will be held 2:30-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday through Oct. 9 at the Parkers Lake Playfield parking lot, 15500 County Road 6.

More than 20 vendors provide fresh, locally grown produce and foods. Musical performances, children's activities and theme nights are held throughout the season. Please bring cash and reusable bags. Dogs are not allowed at the market, with the exception of service dogs.
