Special events bring the community together. The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department holds a variety of community events throughout the year, including concerts, theater, water ski shows, parades, performances and more. Saturday, Sept. 21

Gymnasts, food trucks, marching bands, face painting and more – don't miss the 22nd annual Plymouth on Parade on Saturday, Sept. 21. The event spans Plymouth Boulevard from 34th to 37th avenues. The event is free, but participants should bring cash for food truck purchases. Read more

  • 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Family activities and entertainment
  • 10:30 a.m. – Parade begins

Mayor's Run Club
with Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje

Grab some running shoes for an evening run on the trails with Mayor Jeff Wosje. Runners meet at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.

Run will be approximately 5 miles. Upcoming Mayor's Run Club events include:

  • Sept. 12 – Canceled due to the weather
  • 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10
Plymouth PumpTrack

PumpTrack Time Trials
with 3rd Lair Skate Park and Skate Shop
Load up bikes, skateboards, scooters and more and get set to test those PumpTrack skills. 

A time trial event is set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Plymouth PumpTrack, near the tennis courts at Plymouth Playfield, 9755 36th Ave. N.

Participants are invited to ride the track and compete for the best time in their respective age category. Read more.

Halloween at the Creek

Register OnlineHalloween at the Creek is set for Friday, Oct. 27 at the Plymouth Creek Center. 

The event features carnival games, inflatables, entertainment, prizes, treats and activities geared toward preschool- to elementary-age children.

Costumes are encouraged, but no scary costumes please.

Cost per adult: $5
Cost per child: $10 if pre-registered by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 or $12 at the door

  • Ages 2 and younger are admitted at no charge
  • A pizza slice and beverage are included in the cost of admission
  • Everyone (adults and children) must register to participate

The event is sponsored by Abbott Northwestern-WestHealth and TCF Bank.
