Thursday, Jan. 23, Millennium Garden Pond

Note: Due to the frigid temperatures, Skate the Garden was rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23.

Lights, music and a frozen pond will replace blooming flowers and waterfalls at Plymouth’s popular Millennium Garden, which will be transformed into a skating wonderland. The event is set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23at the Plymouth Creek Center’s Millennium Garden, 14800 34th Ave. N.

Free event. Hot chocolate and treats will be provided. A limited number of rental skates will be available at no cost.

After Hours at the Creek eventAfter Hours at the Creek (21+)

Adults-only event Friday, Jan. 24

Giant slides, inflatables and arcade games are no longer just for kids. Adults are invited to unleash their inner child at After Hours at the Creek, 6:30-10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

This adults-only event features inflatables, cash bar, appetizers, dinner, entertainment, comedian Mary Mack, music, arcade games and more. Tickets and more info.

Fire & Ice Winter Festival
Feb. 1 on the frozen Parkers Lake

Embrace winter at Fire & Ice. Plymouth's 31st-annual winter festival is set for 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at Parkers Lake Park, off County Road 6 and Niagara Lane.

Popular attractions include hayrides, food trucks, recycling bin races, ice skating, games on the ice, fireworks and more.

New: Coloring Contest (entries due Jan. 24)
Children are invited to participate in a coloring contest in advance of Fire & Ice. Entries are due Friday, Jan. 24 – and winning entries will be judged and announced during Fire & Ice. Contestants will be judged in four age categories, and winners and runner-ups will receive prizes. View more information.

Medallion Hunt
The 10th-annual medallion hunt begins Thursday, Jan. 9 with a clue on the city's website and social media platforms. View clues and more information.

Save the date for the city's newest event  Discover Plymouth is Saturday, April 18. The community can visit with local businesses, community organizations and nonprofits; learn about city services; shop the marketplace for handmade goods; and explore health and wellness opportunities.
