Special events bring the community together. The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department holds a variety of community events throughout the year, including concerts, theater, water ski shows, parades, performances and more. View the annual events brochure (PDF) for a list of reoccurring events.

Belgian Waffle Breakfast in Plymouth

Belgian Waffle Breakfast | Jan. 27
Plymouth’s annual Belgian Waffle Breakfast is set for Jan. 27 at the Plymouth Creek Center. 

Enjoy all-you-can-eat, made-from-scratch waffles by Dad's Belgian Waffle Company. Waffles are served hot off the griddle with a host of toppings, sausage, coffee and juice. Cost is $7 for guests ages 6 and older, and $4 for guests ages 5 and younger. The event is a fundraiser for senior programming in Plymouth. Read more.

The Harbor Revue Variety Show in Plymouth

The Harbor Revue | Feb. 14
Comedy tailored for adult audiences, the Harbor Review is a new monthly variety show held at Plymouth Creek Center's Black Box Theatre.

A new episode of the Harbor Revue will be performed each month. The show includes new works and classics, presented with a mix of comedy, drama, stories, poems, short plays, sketches and music. Cost is $15 per ticket. Read more.


Calendar of Events

Plymouth on Parade

Parade 10:30 a.m.

Music, food, fun and marching bands will bring the community together again for the 19th annual Plymouth on Parade on Sat., Sept. 23, 10:30 a.m. Bring a chair or stand along the parade route to enjoy this perennial favorite. The parade route runs down Plymouth Boulevard from 34th to 37th Avenues.

Post Parade Activities 12 to 2 p.m. 
After the parade, stay for an afternoon of free family activities from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Hilde Performance Center and the Plymouth Ice Center/Life Time Fitness area. Come inside for free ice skating and swimming. If you prefer to stay outdoors, check out face painting, entertainment, Plymouth Concert Band performance and inflatables. Food concessions are available for purchase.
