The neighborhood get-together tradition, Night to Unite, returns to Plymouth this summer.
Set for 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, Night to Unite is a statewide community-building event focused on crime prevention, strengthening neighborhood connections and building positive relationships with public safety personnel. Residents are encouraged to organize neighborhood block parties as an opportunity to reconnect with neighbors, welcome new residents and strengthen community ties. For details, visit plymouthmn.gov/ntu.
Participants are invited to attend the Materials Pickup Event 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 at the Northwest Greenway Pavilion, 5250 Peony Lane. Attendees can pick up public safety informational materials to distribute to their neighbors during their Night to Unite block party, explore public safety vehicles, and view a K-9 demonstration beginning at 7 p.m.
