The Plymouth Police and Fire departments, Neighborhood Watch groups and residents team up on the first Tuesday of August to celebrate Night to Unite. This is a chance for neighbors to turn on their lights, lock their doors, come together and strengthen their bonds.
Night to Unite is an effective and fun way to get to know your neighbors and prevent crime. Each neighborhood decides how they want to celebrate Night to Unite. Gatherings can be as elaborate or as simple as you like -- block parties, live music, dunk tanks, parades, kids’ games, potlucks, pizza parties, dessert buffets and cookouts.
For people who would like to get ideas for planning their neighborhood's gathering, the Police Department typically hosts planning meetings during the spring to give residents a chance to share ideas. Attending planning meetings is optional.

Registration begins in April.
