Plymouth Parks and Recreation welcomes both residents and non-residents to participate in our extensive recreation programming. The Recreation Division offers year-round programs, classes, concerts, special events, trips, team sports, and sport instruction for youth, adults, and families.

Spring & Summer Activities Guide 2015

In addition, special recreation programs are provided for seniors and people with disabilities. Those programs are offered in cooperation with Senior Community Services and Reach for Resources. Listings of recreation programs are included in the Plymouth Parks & Recreation Activities Guide.  The guide is mailed to all residents three times a year in February, July and November. The Recreation Division also serves as the headquarters for the City of Plymouth’s extensive volunteer program.

Registration Information

Use your participation number and family PIN to register online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pay with VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. To set up a new account or to receive your account numbers, call the Parks and Recreation office at 763-509-5200.  Class transfer requests and withdrawal/refund requests must be made no less than one full week prior to the first class.  A $5 service fee is retained on each withdrawal/refund request.

Wayzata Middle Schools Ski & Snowboard Club

Plymouth Parks and Recreation is again offering a Friday after-school ski and snowboard program through the Wayzata East, West, and Central Middle Schools for the 2015/2016 school year.  Trips are open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and will take place on Fridays in January and February.  Buses load after-school and return to school at approximately 11:00 p.m.  Beginners and experienced skiers/boarders are welcome.  All trips are chaperoned by adults. Lessons and rentals are available.

Parent/Student Informational Meeting: Meeting includes trip information, program pricing and details, program brochure, and registration forms.

  • Starting Wednesday, December 16 - Walk-in and mailed-in registrations accepted and processed.  Note: mailed in registrations will be opened and processed at the same time as walk-in registrations.
  • Starting Monday, December 21 - Phone-in registrations accepted and processed.
  • Online, emailed, or faxed registrations are not accepted or available at this time.
  • All registrations are accepted and processed on a first come basis. Note: space is limited and trips have filled quickly the previous two years.

Volunteer Chaperones Needed:

  • Enjoy the slopes or stay warm in the chalet.  Chaperones receives free lift and rental.  Note: Trips may be cancelled if there is insufficient chaperone coverage.  If interested, contact Plymouth Parks and Recreation at  Training is held on Monday, January 4 at 6:30pm.
