Project Overview
The Four Seasons / Northwood Lake Water Quality Improvement Project is proposed to address an excess nutrient impairment in Northwood Lake, located just downstream of the Four Seasons Mall in the City of New Hope.

The feasibility report documents the review of several water quality improvement options including ponding, stream restoration, wetland restoration, flow restriction, alum treatment, and partnerships. Through development of the feasibility report, it was evident that a combination of water quality ponding and stream restoration were the most viable and cost effective option to meet water quality goals. Water quality ponding is being considered at Lancaster Lane. Proposed stream restoration extends from Lancaster Lane upstream for approximately 3700 feet.

The Commission is tentatively scheduled to review a new concept at their regular meeting on July 17, 2014.
