Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre brings Shakespeare to Plymouth

A Midsummer Night's Dream in Plymouth, MNA production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is set for Plymouth this summer through Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre company and the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department.

Participation in the Theatre Production
The audition and rehearsal process begins Monday, July 16 and culminates with two performances at the end of the week.

Participation in the production is open to children ages 8-14. All participants who preregister and audition will receive a part in the production.

Cost to participate is $117 for residents and $129 for non-residents. Prairie Fire provides sets, props, costumes, makeup and direction.

Free Public Performances
Performances are set for 7 p.m. Friday, July 20 and 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd. Performances are free and open to the public. 

In the event of inclement weather, performances may be canceled. Cancellations will be listed on the weather hotline, 763-509-5205.
