Plymouth Arts Fair to be held Nov. 18-19

Post Date:10/24/2017 5:03 pm

Plymouth Arts FairThe City of Plymouth will hold the annual Plymouth Arts Fair 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

Around 30 local and regional artists display, demonstrate and sell their artwork. Plymouth Arts Fair features paintings, photography, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, clothing/accessories, household items and more. Past fairs have showcased brightly colored canvas landscapes, intricate beading and necklaces, handmade cards and stationary, and hand carved wooden cheese boards.

“It’s a great way to support local artists and find unique gifts for family and friends – do a little early holiday shopping and check out the gorgeous artwork,” said Recreation Supervisor Alyssa Fram.

The event also features a free children’s art activity 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, as well as musical performances throughout both days of the fair.

The event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the City of Plymouth, Abbott Northwestern-WestHealth and TCF Bank.
