Water Ski Show in Plymouth

Update: The July 25 Pair of 7 concert has been canceled due to the weather. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

The City of Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department offers free events during the summer with its Entertainment in the Parks series. 

The schedule for July is as follows:

  • Music in Plymouth – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.
    Don't miss the 45th annual Music in Plymouth, featuring the Minnesota Orchestra. Enjoy music, food, fireworks and fun. Co-sponsored by the Plymouth Civic League and City of Plymouth. Free admission and free shuttle service is available. Attendees should bring chairs or blankets. More information.

  • Water Ski Show – 7 p.m. Monday, July 10, Parkers Lake, County Road 6 and Niagara Lane
    Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy this free beach-front show, featuring jumps, pyramids and choreographed moves. More information.

  • Concert: Zachary Scot Johnson – 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, Hilde Performance Center
    This singer-songwriter performs on guitar, piano, dobro, mandolin, banjo, violin and a variety of hybrid instruments, and has shared the stage with artists such as Shawn Colvin, the Verve Pipe and Willy Porter.

  • Concert: Salsa del Soul – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 13, Hilde Performance Center
    This Twin Cities-based, nine-piece orchestra performs various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean.

  • Magic Show: Annette Fragale – 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.
    Entertainer Annette Fragale will delight children with a free magic show geared toward ages 4-10. Registration is required. Register, more information.

  • Concert: Tzofim Friendship Caravan – 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, Hilde Performance Center
    These energetic teenagers are leaders in their scout chapters in Israel. The group travels across North America, using song, dance and personal stories to share friendship and love for Israel. Attendees should bring chairs or blankets.

  • Concert: LaValle Jazz Cats – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 20, Hilde Performance Center 
    This 10-piece band entertains audiences with jazz, Latin and blues, and performs classics such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and more.

  • Concert: Pair of 7 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, Hilde Performance Center
    This captivating duo blends smooth vocal harmony, expansive guitar playing and upbeat showmanship. A variety of styles are covered – from Fleetwood Mac to Sheryl Crow, and Johnny Cash to Steely Dan. 

All Entertainment in the Parks events are free to the public, unless otherwise noted. Watch the video on YouTube. Concessions are available for purchase at some events. Sponsors include Allina Health/Abbott Northwestern-WestHealth and TCF Bank.
